Because they use an Intel Atom Z2760 CPU, they have more in common with the netbooks of old than normal laptops that use more powerful CPUs such as the Intel Core i3 and Core i5

Good analysis. I just can't see spending that type of money for an Atom based machine. And HP sure came out looking bad. Thanks for sharing this item.

Is there something vastly different between the Atom Z2760 and Atom N570 architecture? I get significantly higher read/write speeds on my tablet with an Atom N570 than what the review got with the Z2760. I used AS SSD Benchmark and Samsung SSD magician and both gave very similar results.

Very good chart. I did not know that the Atom Z2760 came with an Intel 4000 chipset. That is a very good chipset comparable to some higher level graphics cards.
