Solved Windows 8: Shortcut in start menu

Hello everybody.
Please answer me how to in start menu smaller by clicking keyboard shortcut?

For instance, when I want to make icons smaller i should to press button in the right corner

to see

I avoid the standard (horrible) Windows 8 Start Menu altogether by installing the free program "Classic Shell" which makes my Windows 8.1 User interface look and operate like Windows 7. Declaration: - I have no connection with Classic Shell program other than as a satisfied user. See here Classic Shell - Start menu and other Windows enhancements if you wish to install it.
