Thanks, Terry, I'll try that.

If that doesn't work, I guess I'll just have to d/l it again.....

Had no issue at all with the DP or the CP....

I couldn't get the RP to run on VM Player but still have the VMLite Workstation that only wants to set up the XP Mode instead.

When going to create the new VM's drive which option did you use? If you selected VHD it won't work. The default option however should see it work once you add the iso as a new cd/dvd drive. Note the image here showing the new optical seen as the VDI drive is under sata not ide.

You can see i kept it simple by not seeing either of the two ide dvd burners(one now replaced by sata model). Again you may to add and then remove the new optical drive there a few times before it finally takes. But this is how it should look for either the 64bit or 32bit RP install.

Hi Night hawk,
I already attached the window 8 DVD error, before that is window 7..sorry. now I found another problem, when I laptop connect to external monitor( TV using HDMI cable ), look like window 8 cannot play the sound on second monitor(TV). the sound only out from my laptop .Thanks .Need help

For sound depending on how you are connecting the speakers or tv you would go into the Control Panel>Sound section or choose "sounds" in the Personilization" options when right clicking on the desktop to arrive in the main area. Then you click to open the Playback to select the correct item to made the default playback device.

If you plug in a usb headset for live chat or gaming the headset would then have to be made the default playback and recording device for the mic on that. Otherwise the laptop will default to any built-in speakers. First you have to be patched out to the tv or to an external speaker set before seeing that done with a fast right click on the playback device which would be the tv of course.

If you can grab an image of the playback tab there with the snipping tool and reply back with it that can be looked to see what it has for playback devices listed and go from there if you still need any help.

You can delete it yourself. ;)

Go to edit, then delete, just specify your reason, and done.

It's a simple task. Simply click on the edit post button and then check off the delete post option followed by typing in the reason seen on the upper left hand side and lately clicking on the delete button over on the far right side as seen in the snipping for this here.

I think you originally wanted to post something else here but were about to post the same thing as seen on the other thread. You lost your train of thought for a few. We've all been there at times! :D
