Solved Windows 8 Pro license transfer a new Windows 8.1 computer?

edit:

Note: The PID.txt file is no longer needed.

If you have an OEM computer with UEFI firmware (BIOS) embedded Windows 8/8.1 (core) product key and if you want to clean install Windows 8.1 Pro.

1. Download Windows 8.1 Pro installation media (see this link for help).

2. Clean install Windows 8.1 Pro from USB/DVD.

Enter your Windows 8/8.1 Pro product key (see screenshot below).

Enter the product key .png

So, I was finished install windows 8, but now the computer do not shutdown!!!!
I can hear the fan spinning and two LEDs are ligtning, the screen is black.
I need to hold down powerbutton 4-seconds and then it shutdown.

But, when letting computer goto hibernation, the first step. Then it shutdown completed
after 30-min.

So, i decided to try booting Legacy and deleted the 4-partions, se pics.
Quit installation, restart computer, did not pressed the boot into DVD-oem-win8
and the installation started!!!
- Now theres only 2-partions and installation whent OK.
Computer shutdown OK.
Why?

What is MSR-partion?

I have a laptop with a copy of a retail windows 8 pro and a Lenovo desktop with windows 8.1 preinstalled (i believe its OEM embedded copy).

I want to switch the copies of windows; laptop = windows 8.1 and Lenovo = windows 8 pro. Can I do it? when I read the first post it makes it seem like I can:
"Note: This Windows 8.1 installation media accepts Windows 8/8.1 product keys, both retail and OEM (for example, "Windows 8 Pro $15 Upgrade Offer" product key)."

How can I tell if its a OEM embedded copy of windows that came with the Lenovo? I assume it is...

thanks

To check the channel of the installed key, from command prompt as admin run:

slmgr -dlv

slmgr -dlv

so it says its OEM: DM does this mean its OEM embedded?
