Solved windows 8 game app says can't connect to xbox?

Ok so for the past few days windows 8 game app acts like its logged in but i don't get my friends list or my avitar and when i click on friends it says can't connect to xbox?, why is it looking for a xbox i havent had one those in a number of years. it use to work just fine i could chat with my friends and so forth see my gamer score and so on and now it just says can't connect to xbox?. Um someone please help its driving me nuts and i don't no what is wrong with it. I can sign in threw the fable 3 game but it uses games for windows live and not the xbox game app on windows 8.

windows 8 itself supports for xbox games and music stores.

You can create free account and enjoy music and games at one place
Your place should be properly configured otherwise it will face problem in log in.
Also in order to share you have windows charms from where you can directly chat with your friends

i have it set up it use to work up till like last 3 days all i get is can't connect to xbox i don't understand what is wrong it says its logged in but its not i cant see any of my friends anymore or my gamer profile.

somebody has to have a way for me to fix this,I have tried re installing it i have also tried there app trouble shooter nothing works somebody please help.

is it working now? this is usually a server side issue.

I noticed the problem a few days ago with not being able to pull up my friends. It was logged in so I could do everything else but see my friends.

Now it's cleared up (took a few days though).

yea it is i had a few issues after it fixed itself with it freezing up and so forth must have been on there end as its all fixed now.

had that issue with skype, bing weather and nook reader earlier in the year when that whole windows azure thing happened that also took down halo 4 at the same time..
