Hi There, Is it Possible to run this Version for every day use ? I have it installed on an Old 478 socket P4 pc.
It runs real good, But not sure for how long.. Is there any other Version of Windows 8 that would run on a Older
computer with a P4 cpu ? Thank you for any help..

You could open the Run (:winkey:+R) dialog, and run winver to see the expiration date.

Plus, a Google search for "Windows 8 Consumer Preview expiration date" will give you plenty more references.

This is what I found.. There was no time expire though... scree shot.jpg

Most likely because it's already expired.

Did you use any exploits/cracks to install it other than a normal clean install?

Just installed it Normally, I got it from a Friend of mine... Not sure if He put a crack on it though...If the date was up, Then it shouldn't be working Right ...

For the Pentium 3 (512mb ram) it's over: 8.0 preview worked, 8.1 preview doesn't.

Pentium 4 (and 2GB ram) should take it a while longer.

Get the 8.1 preview ISO and try it out.
