Windows 8 Consumer Preview due February 29: why it's not called beta

You might just as well, unless you have a specific problem necessitating reinstallation. After all, you only have to wait until the 29th, which is Wednesday. Depending on your locale, you might have to wait until Thursday, but in any case it's less than a week. Can't wait myself. :)
 
Is it the 29th? For some reason I though it was the 28th... I woke up all exited this morning! lol
 
but wait! So is it coming at 15.00 - 17.00 GMT 0? or have i undertanded it incorrectly? it's almost 21-23 hours till the release?
 
Well I would but I think you'll be up long before me being in the time zone you're in. ;-)

I would not count on it...by the time I get out of bed and come around you will probably have downloaded and set up! LOL! :D

The most likely place will be where you see the Developer Preview posted presently seeing the changeover to Customer Preview. That web cast link is about the only thing found so far for anyone other then a regular MS tester.

It seems their handling the release of 8 differently this time around not finding any sign up page to participate but will likely post it as you now see the DPreview.
