Solved Windows 8 Build 7989 Screen Shots / Snips

It looks like some icons got deleted. But doesn't that mean that there will be some missing icons when the Task Manager (I think, based on the name "twinui.dll") needs them?

I just used the 7989 ISO extracted to a Windows 7 Ultimate desktop to do a clean install of 7989 successfully!

I hope they really update the look. The windows 8 Tiles was actually not as well done as in the phone. That lead me to disappointment. Now this regular start menu taskbar thing is just really getting old. I hope there are more changes. I know performance wise and features they should be having some good features but the user interface really needs some work. it's been the same since 95. I'm excited for some more updates but so far besides some hints of metro user interface there hasn't been anything dramatic or that improve on the boring aero look.

I dunno. Never tried the re-arm. Since the day I installed Win 8 7989, it's told me, so to speak, I have until March 12th of 2012.

I was fooling around with it in the registry other day and got it to prompt for an activation key. ;)

I haven't read much about win 8 yet, but there doesn't seem to be that much change from win 7, does someone care to enlighten me?

Also does it work on Virtual Box with the same settings as Win 7?
