About 1 month ago my laptop started not receiving W 8.1 updates, although another device received W 10 and Microsoft Office updates. I tried all methods to repair, but all failed.

This morning I reinstalled W 8.1, when windows is freshly installed it is free of errors, and there are lots of updates coming in, but in my device the check for updates bar kept on running but no update received.

I have heard the MS has stopped supporting W 8, so I think Microsoft might have also stopped supporting W 8.1.

Windows Embedded 8.1 falls under the same lifecycle policy as Windows Embedded 8 with support ending 7/11/2023. Customers have 24 months to move to Windows Embedded 8.1 to remain supported. This applies to Windows Embedded 8 Industry Enterprise

I don't feel Microsoft gonna stop support for 8.1 that soon. And there are no official statements
