Windows 8.1 U1 - Unknow BSOD - KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

Hi t all,

i've a problem with my computer.
From a few day i expect a random BSOD on my computer.
I don't have do nothing like hardware modify or software upgrade but the problem still persist.
Today i've try to reinstall my OS (Windows 8.1 Update 1) but the problem still persist.
Try again without install any driver, but only following Windows Update and the problem appaer again.
I've 2 MiniDump and a FullDump if needed to help you to understand the cause and help me

The dumpfiles point to win32k.sys and ntkrnlmp.exe When aWindows/system driver like ntkrnlmp.exe is blamed when experiencing a BSOD

it's most likely not the problem. Most of the time further analysis is neededto determine the actual cause.

There are 2 problems in Device manager:

Please install the windows 8.1 drivers for Xbox 360 wireless or uninstall this device.
Install for ACPI\INT33A0\0 for Intel® Smart Connect Technology driver from here ASRock > Fatal1ty P67 Professional

Also update this driver from 2010 HECIx64 fffff800`24136000 fffff800`24147000 Wed Oct 20 01:33:43 2010 (4cbe2ad7) 0001b15f HECIx64.sys

If allof this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to theseinstructions: Driver Verifier Settings

I've reinstall Windows 8.1 again and before do any update from Microsoft Update i've install all new driver.
At the moment appear working fine without any issue. Also this weekend i'm going to change thermal paste on the CPU.

Hi all,

the problem turn back again with random error.
As i can see, sometime he wasn't able to generate any mini-dump so i upload the new file with last 2 mini-dump.

I've alredy do a check disk about file system on c:\ (SSD with Windows 8.1) and sfc /scannow to verify if there are any know issue can help me to solve it.

Another addition, when appear the last BSOD, my PC reboot itself and crash 2-3 time at UEFI boot up when appear the Window's Dot Circle.

The latest 2 dumpfiles are both bugcheck 7e STOP 0x0000007E: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
If you do not know the specific cause of the exception, consider the following issues:

• Hardware incompatibility. Make sure that any new hardware that is installed is listed in the Microsoft Windows Marketplace Tested Products List.
• Faulty device driver or system service. A faulty device driver or system service might be responsible for this error. Hardware issues, such as BIOS incompatibilities, memory conflicts, and IRQ conflicts can also generate this error.

One dumpfile has Probably caused by : memory_corruption ( nt!MiSystemFault+28c ) .

Please check your memory with memtest 86+

You are using xbox with drivers from 2009. This drivers are known for bsods on windows 7/8. Please update to windows 8/8.1 drivers or remove the devices.

Also you have some older drivers all related to saitek. probably belonging to your Mad Catz M.M.O.7 Gaming Mouse (USB), please also update.

You have a bitdefender app from 2012, also update to the latest windows 8.1 compatible version or remove.

What is is the precise model of your mainboard. My analysprogram mentioned Asrock P67 pro.
But your latest bios version L3.21A refers to the Fatal1ty P67 Professional mainboard.


Please update these older drivers. Linksare included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable tofind an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for thatdriver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the systemunbootable! :

I don't know why, but when i've the 1st time BSOD i've alredy check my bank of ram and never found a dimm failed.
This time, i've run it and found a bank with error. Try only with 2x4GB and no problem found.
I don't have test the 2x2GB now but open a direct RMA with G.Skill as lifetime warranty.

It's a not-original XBOX Wireless USB because my old was broken. It appear don't accept the original's microsft driver.

My mouse is a Mad Catz M.M.O. 7 Gaming mouse and from Mad Catrz website i still use the last driver (Mad Catz | Downloads).

As image attached, i still use the last version 2014 of BitDifender Antivirus Plus.

My mainboard is ASRock P67 Professional with BETA Bios L3.21A from 18/03/2013. It running fine for 2 year, so that isn't a problem. Additional i can't downgrande it or i should trash my mainboard.
