Solved Windows 8.1 Recovery - Could not find recovery environment

Hey Barman 58, new problem. I already created an install media in my USB stick. However, when I run the setup.exe and try to install the available updates, I cannot insert the numbers 1 or 0 in the bar that asks for the product key. What is that?

Barman58, new problem. When I run the setup.exe and it asks for the product key, I can`t type certain letters nor the numbers 0 or 1. I tried switching to other keyboards such as POR - PTB, (I'm from Brazil), POR - INTL and DEU and it does not work. What is that and what do I do about it?

If it is asking you for the product key - then you are running the wrong edition of windows..
Home or Pro or Single Language - which do you have installed??

I agree with KYHI in that the installer should not ask for the Product Key unless it's seeing the key for another Version or No key at all from the Motherboard

If it is just a glitch you have to remember that Key Characters can be other than they initially appear check for 0 or O, 1 or I, and 8 or B as the main ones

So, in my system, when I check my Windows edition, it only shows "Windows 8.1 Enterprise". When I created an install media in my USB stick, it it asked me which of the Windows editions I wanted. Then I selected the "Windows 8.1" version in spite of the other versions.

Windows Enterprise editions are only available to Companies and other users of the volume licensing system.

As you are having issues re-installing this OS you need to contact the system administrator of the company that supplied you with the software. It is not licensed in the same way as normal consumer editions but normally required regular logging in to a special licence server.

To see if there is am embedded product key within the BIOS

So KYHI, I ran the program and have 3 keys and the product ID with me. I have the OEM key, the Installed key and the Original key. Which one should I click to hide and which one should I show here in the forum?

Hide them all > I assume the Original and OEM Key are the same ??/
And just below the it will tell you the windows version the key is for
