One of 8.1's many perks over Vista redux (10.17) was it held such perfect folder views. Windows 8.1 Pro Explorer loses Custom Folder View either by random, or because of CCleaner. Folder > View > Options > Folder options dialog > views > apply to folders... I may learn the source someday, but wanted to know before i reimage to my perfect backup copy and lose them all over again, where are these custom folder view settings stored? Is there any Windows feature or App that restore them or protects them from change or loss? When i lose my views i lose my mind! Please help.
