I check. I noticed some files was empty. Around 20gb of missing files. I have no found folders. I check chkdsk /f /r right now. Maybe some will come back. I am disappointed that chkdsk cannot write what files that has gone missing.
chkdsk only rewrites the Master File Table,
I miss read the original post and assumed SFC was run.
You can try Recuva though Run it on the C:\ drive,
Shut everything else down.
I found that several files was empty. Lucky the files was still there even if they were empty. It made it more easy to replace them from a backup. Is there any program that can tack and hold index over personal files so i know what can be missing in the feature? In previous Windows like Vista the chkdsk always found missing files and places them in the original folders and in the found folder. Now the chkdsk did not found anything. Not even with /f /r. I have checked show hidden folders to.
Now, that I can't really answer. Whatever was in the found folder, as far as I remember
could never be relinked to the original files, or at least I never found a way. Logs here How to find ChkDsk results in Event Viewer logs in Windows 11/10 8-8.1 should be the same.
