Hi Lorenzo welcome to the forums.
Do you mean when you mouse over the thumbnails, that, it is not showing the open window on the desktop?

Thanks Cliff

Yes exactly.

Show only little preview but not open windows on desktop.

I try to check all option in Option folder under visualization tab.

Thanks

Lorenzo

I just looked too, but didn't see anything. Does clicking the thumbnail at least bring the window to the front or to the desktop?

Here is my performance option visuals tab, if it helps:

Note: I'm using Windows 10 now and yours might be a little different.

Oh! I just thought of something, you might want to check your settings in "Ease of Access" too.

Under "Ease of access" in "easier viewing" (i have Windows in Italian language) section there aren't option check.

Other thing: In Sistem Property under Advanced tab and under Performance ---> Visual effect i have all check.

Just for troubleshooting purposes, does Aero peek work? When you move your mouse on the taskbar all the way to the right side of the clock, it should hide all open windows and just show your desktop background and icons.

Yes works correctly, all icos on desktop show.

I can't really think of anything else that might help, sorry.:(
Maybe someone else will come along, and with this information, find an answer.
Basically AERO Peek is working, and your thumbnail preview on the taskbar is working, but not showing the window on the desktop, when you place the cursor on the thumbnail preview.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but I think it is close-

Once the cursor is on one of tiny previews it will expand to full screen-

I think Cliff S covered this.
I just woke up.
My brain needs more coffee. :)

Which are the services for thumnails, preview and aero peek ?

Can i try to active some one of services or some function with gpedit.msc ?
