Here is a zip with some color registry settings.
Just download the zip file, right click, open properties, unblock, click apply, then extract to where you wish.
Next choose any(doesn't matter which) high contrast theme. Then double click one of the files, sign out & back in.
When you find one(or more) you like, just save the settings by opening Personalization in control panel where themes are stored and save it with a background and sound settings you like, and give the theme a name.
Note: these reg settings are only set for that one theme, so if you don't want or like it any more, just change the theme:)

Here are some screenshots too.

What you see when you apply the reg file when using Aero(windows normal theme mode) is something called "Hybrid Aero"(for which I use thes registry files actually;)). There are color settings that can't be applied without a UX(User Experience) Theme Patcher when using Aero. But these programs cause instability and also castrate certain functions. For example, it kills the right click function in start screen and all apps screen. Also Reliability History will not work after.
I know how it effects IE11, so in high contrast I use Firefox with these settings which overrides high contrast:
Image 004.png

If you want to go ahead and try a good dark them that needs patching(which I really don't recommend(anymore)) take a look at this at deviant art, it comes with patcher and instructions: Gray 2014 (dark theme Windows 8.1 Update 1) Upd.11 by ezio on DeviantArt If you decide to use it and need help installing just post here. It's a 6.8MB download that comes with theme files, registry file and
5) In the pack there's a registry fix to avoid white elements instead of dark ones after blocking the user, or sending a sleep/hybernate command to the system. Just apply it.

6) Install and set the included transparency tool as described in the "transparency" folder of this package.
PLEASE NOTE: some antivirus could find a malware in that folder, it's a false positive (due to the set-at-boot.reg behaviour).

--------------------

TIPS:

There are some barely visibile fonts in few programs but it usually depends from the program itself (if it applies visual style colors for some parts, and hardcoded colors for other parts).

To set transparency in windows and popup frames use the tool included in this pack.

Not really sorry. It takes time to get it right.
And most importantly, you need to make a system image before hand, incase something goes wrong. Not a restore point, but a system image, with Macrium Reflect or some other program you prefe, so you can restore your PC back to where it was before installing any part of a UX theme.

To install the basic theme without the bells & whistles(which is better so) :
  1. You need to install the UXStyles theme patcher,
  2. Reboot
  3. Then copy (not move) the Gray 2014 folder and the Gray 2014 Windows theme file to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes.
  4. Then open Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Personalization and scroll down till you find the Grey 2014 under Installed Themes, then click it.
  5. There is also a registry fix to avoid white elements you need to double click and apply it
  6. Sign out and sign back in.
  7. Do not use "Transparency" or "OldNewExplorer"

Now if you like the theme you are done and it stays applied until you change it.
One thing to watch out for: For any Windows Updates requiring a reboot(such as on patch Tuesday) you need to switch to a normal windows theme, or you risk getting a black screen with white cursor and no desktop.
Other than that, If you run sfc /scannow at any time you will need to re-apply UXStyles Theme Patcher.

OMG , Thanks Finally the ugly white color has been killed :D:eek: . I messed this part of installation . When i installed UltraUXThemePatcher_3.0.4 ,Another File arrived with this package called "UXTheme" i applied it then selected the theme i want then Log out 'Everything appeared :)
I expected the patcher will do all the specific functions ...
By the way ,According to the High contract conflicted Colors . I think Microsoft must Deal with this kind of problems because these setting established with windows ,So its so shame to release a copy of Windows without fixing this kind of issues....

Thanks So Much Cliff S;) Finally the user interface look more pretty than before  Seriously Am SICK of white Color XD

You're welcome dune dune:) And remember, when you receive an update(from Microsoft) that needs a reboot, change over to a windows theme before rebooting.
