windows 8.1 admin password reset

hi

i have an hp windows 8.1 laptop. have forgotten the admin password. there is another account on laptop which allows me to logon but does not have admin rights.

Follow directions here to enable the Hidden Administrator account. From there you can change passwords as needed.

Friends who are similar to me , you cam try the Microsoft account and Super Admin Account to reset password on Windows ,

If you can't do it from WinRE, boot a Windows 8 or 8.1 Install disk or flash drive. On the 2nd menu, take the Repair Computer path, everything else is the same as in the link I provided.
