I've spent some time reading and watching various Win11 reviews, hoping that it might be an exciting release, especially since we were told that Win10 would be the last MS OS - honestly I don't see a need for 11 at this point, and I'm sure MS will force us to install Win11 eventually.

I guess we'll have to wait and see what the final official Win11 OS has to offer???

I like to watch and learn what all the guinea pigs do with it first. Usually I won't install a Windows o/s until it has already been in circulation for years. (Not for myself anyway).*

*Edit. I'm sorry. That sounded snobbish. I do play around with new operating systems on PCs where I can afford to lose everything. When Windows 10 was in beta I played around with it via Windows Insider. When I tried to do roll back I had to contact Microsoft to get the job done because as far as Microsoft was concerned that o/s no longer existed. I'm not overly excited about Windows 11. Microsoft seems to have a pattern going: If the o/s does not run fast enough just throw away the tools to lighten the load. Methinks there's a limit to how much streamlining they can do and eliminating useful programs sounds more like a crooked bait and switch game to me than anything else. Admittedly, I'm not a hard core software geek. I relate to hardware better. Yet I am not worried if Windows users are going to be forced to cross over to Win 11. Linux has been working wonderfully for me lately and once I figure out how to network on Linux I won't be that Windows dependant.
