Hello! I just got a new mobo & case & prosessor. I have dualboot for win8 and ubuntu, and when i booted the computer up i went through grub to win8. Once i got in win8 AND logged in(without logging in there is no problem) after about a minute, the computer just rebooted. Everytime i turned it on and went to win8 it just rebooted. Im pretty sure that this is a software problem and not hardware, not sure thuogh. Because when i went in to my ubuntu, it ran perfectly without an error. The hard drive where my win8 runs is a lot older than the ubuntu hardware that worked, could that be the problem? Well anyways, it sometimes says that "Windows detected error and will restart after 1min bla bla bla..." and then reboots, and sometimes it flashes an small error screen and then does the same thing. I have booted the drivers disk that came with my motherboard, although not sure if it was supposed to be installed in win(but i can't do that as it reboots all the time) So i have tried everything but can't get it to work, so do anyone got an idea on what might be causing the problem? Im thinking to replace the ubuntu hard drive with win7 if no solution is found.

If you replaced the motherboard with a completely different one, not just the same make and model (or very similar) then this is a very typical outcome. You can try the repair options, but basically you're looking at reinstalling Windows because you need to get the new motherboard drivers installed.

Thanks for answering! I did not know what was wrong until now, but i also though that i need to reinstall windows, but how about when i am installing the new windows, will the machine just reboot or how i will install the new drivers without having the machine stuck on rebooting again? or will it not reboot loop as before?

The machine is likely rebooting because of a BSOD as a result of incorrect drivers being loaded. That would not happen on a clean install of Windows. If you boot from the install media only the default Windows supplied drivers are loaded.
