I have been getting this when major updates (not Defender definitions) are available for download. I have Windows set to check for updates, but not to automatically install them. Is there a way to stop this (without setting the updates to "Automatic" or "Never"), as it locks the screen until you interact with it? This did not start until a few months ago and was probably part of one of Microsofts monthly update packages. It is very annoying and if it cannot be stopped I will have to set it to "Never check for updates". When updates are available I see the notification on the task bar. I don't need a banner locking up the screen!
