win 8 twin screens

I fitted 2 screens to my asus PC , both on same video card, one using the normal outlet and the other via the HDMI port ,I have a 7.1 sound system connected to same pc but when I play video links on the one screen ( hdmi) the sound is really muffled, if I paste the same link onto my other screen the sound is perfect. Any ideas?

Sounds like one screen is using HDMI audio and the other is using the regular PC audio. HDMI audio is generated by a sound chip on the video card. PC audio is generated by the sound chip on the motherboard (or separate sound card if that is the way you are set up).

System specs and more specific data is needed to try to assist you.
