Windows 8 RTM Enterprise:
Download Windows 8 Enterprise Evaluation

With latest win8 specific driver (10.0.0.75) and with stock driver I get 0x9f power state BSOD's. [DEL]10.0.0.54 win7 driver might be OK.[/DEL] 10.0.0.75 win7 specific driver refuses to load (driver signing problem with modified inf file).

AR9002WB-1NG wireless card (Asus N53SN)

Also installed Cisco VPN Client 5.0.07.0440 with original 3.22.4 citrix deterministic network enhancer DNE.

Also had BSOD code D1 DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL on dne with driver verifier.

Currently testing dne 3.22.8 (not latest), which used to work the best under win7.

I resorted to reinstalling the OS. The system started to behave increasingly erratic. vpn and dne uninstall did not appear to help. I will try to keep log of my system behaviour, including vpn installs, driver installs, etc...

Glad to hear you got it stable again.
Sometimes a clean install is the best and fastest way to recover.

Make an Image backup, then it will only take a couple minutes and much less program installations.
Try Macrium Reflect free version.
