Hello, I have a problem with my lenovo y500, right now my laptop won't boot to Windows 8, it stays in the lenovo black screen and shows "preparing automatic repair" loading for many minutes. Also when it boots, goes to a blue screen where I can choose options like recovery and stuff, the thing is that when I click it, it says that the hard drive is locked and I don't know what to do.

Update:

I don't even get to be in windows, it doesn't boot at all.

I made a restore with one key recovery and still won't boot. I really don't know what else to do, since this M$ system of not providing a win 8 key with the laptop that the user can see won't let me download a new win 8 iso from the official website.

I´ve downloaded an enterprise version wich doesn't work either, so now Im downloading a pirate version to see how it goes.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Did you make the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Disks?

You can order the Microsoft official OEM Recovery disks from the OEM manufacturer's website.

Hi, I didn't make the Recovery Disks, it's my fault for being noob, but this laptop has like less than 6 months of use so I didn't think Win8 could be so problematic. And now I can't acces my laptop because is jjust not booting. I'm downloading a win 8 iso from some known site not official though, and see if the repair option works. I kinda need a faster answer since I'm not in the US so I can't get the recovery discs soon enough.
