Hello, my laptop crashed during a system update, the bsod flashes then goes into auto repair. I have tried startup repair, I have disabled early launch mal protection & driver signature enforcement amongst other fixes.
It seems that the computer cannot find c:
I tried running chkdsk and there is a pic attached here. Chkdsk repair won't work error:
The type of the file system is NTFS. Cannot lock current drive. Windows cannot run disk checking on this volume because it is write protected.
My admin login and pass are not local and r my Microsoft account.
I have valuable software and files on here I was starting to backup when this happened I really don't want to have to do a system refresh or reset if I am able not to.
Thank you so very much for any and all help and suggestions! Best regards.
