WIFI on, Website doesn't connect

I get a wifi signal and says I am connected. Yet when I launch the browser it says, not connected, even though the wifi connector says I am. Whats the deal? Thanks.

The WiFi connected only means that you are connected to the router It maybe that you are not connected to the internet due to a fault with the router or it's settings

Go on manage wireless netowrks, then remove and then connect to it again from scratch

Check to see if your DNS settings are working if it automatically acquires IP and DNS. I usually add OpenDNS in my wireless router so the other computers that connect automatically uses open dns without setting it up. Right click on the connection you are using and click properties and double click on internet protocol version 4 and it should bring up a window. If both say obtain addresses automatically then go to command prompt and type ipconfig /all and look for DNS servers
