why are the images shrunk in posts?

Hello, I just posted some screenshot and then I noticed the picture in my post is shrunk a bit. Unfortunately it makes the really small text unreadable. Can I prevent this? It was displayed in 100% size in post preview but not in the final view after submissions.

That happened in your post because you linked the image instead of uploading and attaching the image directly.

aha. Interesting feature... I just wanted to save your server storage space Maybe there could be some kind of comment like "warning: linked images will be scaled down"

Does not work. I checked "Retrieve remote file and reference locally", then I double clicked on the image and chose "full size"and it is still scaled. Then I tried uploading the image from my computer and again it is scaled...

It depends on the size of the original image.

If it's large, it will automatically be scaled down in the post, but clicking on the posted image will allow you to see it full size.

The image you posted wasn't scaled down. It's the full size.

I don't know what you see man, but all my browsers show the image as 500x503pixels while the original is 681x685 (see http://i.imgur.com/Qf0DLoq.png). So I guess it is just over the limit...
