Which SSD to choose and how to copy Win8?

I have this laptop
Notebooks & Ultrabooks | N750JK | ASUS Global
which has two hard drive slots.

I want to change one HD to a 1TB SSD and to copy Win8 from the current HD onto it.

Which SSD model to choose considering eDrive / BitLocker encryption support (don't really know what that is except it effects SSD performance)?

What is the best way and software to copy the current HD to the SSD (I want to keep all my installed software)?

The biggest question is how much do you wish to spend? 1TB SSD's are still really expensive. I have a 240 gb in my labtop, and only use maybe 25 gb on it. All documents, etc are stored in a cloud drive. That way I can access that info with my tablet, iphone or on another computer if I do not have mine.

I just installed a Samsung 850 EVO 250 Gig. SSD in my PC. It comes with the software to copy to the new one. Or you can use AOMEI Backeruper to do it also. It is a Free download, Best Free Backup Software for Windows 10, Windows 8.1/8, Windows 7, Vista, XP

As to the price, it doesn't matter, I'm only worried about software / hardware encryption under Win 8.

Migrating the OS is no problem. Get this program. It does the job with 3 clicks - nothing to learn. It's all automatic. I have used it many times. It never failed.
