I got the pleasure of turning legal (to drink), twice. Was legal at 18, then the age went to 19. Legal again.

BTW, I'm 53

I've been of legal drinking age for over 40 years and have yet to order a drink in a bar since I can't stand the taste of alcohol. I figure it saves me lots of money too.

50 this year. Turned legal drinking age in Georgia 18. At 19 joined the service, got stationed in Indiana. Had to wait two years to be legal again 21. (But I could drink legal on base)
