We're putting all new parts and had a friend polish a lot of the painted parts to bare aluminum, which looks very close to chrome. :)

We ride all sorts of things with two wheels from Jap bikes to Harleys.

We ride all sorts of things with two wheels from Jap bikes to Harleys.

I learned the hard way to never go deer hunting on a Harley in 2005; the doe actually landed on top of me as she jumped and took the bike and me to the asphalt. Seven surgeries and a lot of painful physical therapy.

Good luck on the rebuild project and keep the shinny side up.
