Hello guys,
In Windows 8 there is no start button. But what if you do not have start button on your keyboard? A touchscreen? Then there is no way to shut down your PC. Or access the apps. [only if via explorer]
The Start screen is a new feature in Windows 8 and Windows RT that replaces the Start Menu from previous Windows. You can pinStore apps, programs, folders, drives, files, contacts, and websites to Start to quickly access what you use most. All of your apps—both apps you install from the Windows Store and desktop apps—are available from the Start screen. You can organize, group, and name categories...
To shutdown or restart your PC right-click on the start button on the taskbar and select shutdown. Alternatively, swipe the mouse from top right to bottom right to see the charms and click on the shutdown button.
