It all started on the ( formerly popular haha ) MMORPG RuneScape.

My original characters name was "destroy730" as you can imagine that's kind of...dull...and...yeah...

A friend of mine (who I haven't seen in many years! :( ) named NachosArrows had suggested that I make a new account and start over with a cool name ( this was before the display name update ). So I went and made a new account, destroy730 had already been hacked a couple of times so I needed a change as I was getting depressed and stuff( oh man I was so naive back then! )

So anyway I started to think about different cool names I could do and eventually the name "loveandpower" and "luvandpower" came to me. I quickly made both accounts one becoming the skiller and the other my "main" I also made a pker/pure called "Poweroflove" but I was never a pker so meh never worked on it much.

And I don't know the name just always stayed with me I guess. When display names came out it made it entirely different for everyone and it made it difficult after the first few switches as sometimes you had no idea whoa person was. Back in 2012 I changed my name to "Kaysie" cause I thought it sounded more like a real human name which is pretty rare in RuneScape to ever see. :)

Anyway so yeah that's the story. Loveandpower and luvandpower has just always stuck with me ever since then and I use it on nearly everything. I actually find it kind of ironic people will think I am a chick or something cause the name is "girly" according to them.

My middle name is 'guy', and back in my former 'C+' programming days, I spent an unreasonable amount of time with the 'malloc' memory allocation command in 'C+'. As I don't have to agonize over lines of programming anymore, it seemed like a good mix...

My actual name would be Charles and as you might guess quite a few nicknames came from that. Charlie, Chuck, Chuckles, Chucklehead, and Chucky. :)

For the 38, I have absolutely no idea where it came from. Just seemed to fit, I guess. :p

I like your Avatar and the Peanuts theme you got going.:)

I have a decent-sized collection of Peanuts comic books. Probably read each one of them several times ... was always my favorite.

Thanks! Snoopy has always been my favorite character in Peanuta, so I figured it would be nice to have him represent me online. :)

My Dad has quite a bit of Peanuts books, Dennis the Menace, and Calvin and Hobbes! :D

It just occurred to me that "Joe Cool" would be a good name to use as a forum handle.

It would be and I've thought about changing, but I like to have the same username/ handle for each forum. So if I were to change, I would want to change on all the other forums I use. :(

And this way people aren't calling me Joe. (My younger brother) ;)

my real one is good. :)
Same here, I'm happy with the first name my parents gave me, although it is quite common; in Finland Kari was the 5th most popular name given for boys the year I was born. As a noun it means an underwater rock, I don't know how to translate it in English, you know those rocks the sailors don't see before the boat's bottom has a hole after hitting one :).

All I could find was reef or Sea Mount.

Back in the early 90's when I first got on the internet, everybody referred to it as the information "superhighway". I figured I was just strolling along the superhighway so thought of using strolling but handles were limited to only 8 characters back then so I shortened it to strollin and have used that handle ever since.

Retired in 2015 after working in the tech industry for 41 years. First 10 years as a Technician, the rest as a programmer/software engineer. After 1 year of retirement, I was bored so went back to work as a Robotic Process Automation Consultant. Retired for 3rd (and final) time in 2019.
I happened to be listening to the Aikea-Guinea EP by the Cocteau Twins the other day, when I registered over on TenForums. The last track is called Quisquose, so there you have it. Used the same name here.

I was listening to tool's AEnima album when I signed up. There is a track called "Message To Harry Manback". It's very profane & a bit gruesome. Poor Harry.
Anyway, I just thought it was funny if a bit less than unique.
