Solved What is happening to my image files

I am using Paragon Partition Manager to do a simple back up to my hd that is connected to my laptop through a usb port. Paragon finishes and tells be a reboot is needed to finish. I restart and look on the drive and the name of the backup is a folder...with nothing in it.

What could be wrong. Windows 8.1

Word of warning on AOMEI - it does not work on 32bit systems.

That sounds good. But the time it took and Windows having to repair something is not normal. I never had that happen with Macrium or the Paragon tool with which I made more than a dozen OS transfers to SSDs.

May have to use Macrium or Paragon . I'll let everyone know if the system is stable and error free.

Ok not out of woods on this yet...Windows ran into a problem and rebooted.

Running ok now...boots in 10 seconds. The repair and diag screen only took a few seconds. Only problem I have now is connecting wireless.
