As windows 7 is almost done so I thought its end of those seep less
night installing new builds every weeks and cursing the fake build uploaders but anyway I enjoy it.

Now We got another reason to do all that again......

Alpha builds of Windows 8 are already circulating at MS but they are far worse than Windows 7 at the moment, older forks basically.

We should see some alphas and invites in about six months. If you do want to be an official tester make sure to registry at Microsoft Connect if you haven't already.

It is hit or miss unfortanetely. Some of the programs\betas\alpha will put a registration link in their connect profile (https://connect.microsoft.com/directory/) while others will send you e-mails with a registration link.

For example I'm part of about 93 "connections". I noticed the more I participated the more private invites I received. This is nothing official of couse, I haven't had contract work for Microsoft for a few years, but my personal observation.

The NDAs suck though. So do CnD =/
