Just got here, am I late? Running win8 on my laptop, being a student has its perks like a free iso and registration code. I was searching on tapatalk for a support forum and this is the first one I found. Geeky nerdy guy that I am I have lots of tech toys and love learning from others experience rather than from my old hunt and peck habits of trial and error

And I think I should add that I'm forty something and a sophomore in college. From a guy that dropped out of high school the day he turned 18 that is a miracle in my humble opinion. Never too late is very true!

I got my Samsung Ativ Smart PC with Windows 8 on monday, and I am quite satisfied with Win 8,
but not quite so satisfied with the PC, and neither are the rewievers. Hopefully I will manage to get
things sorted out. I also have another laptop with Win 7, and one with Linux SolusOS 1.3, so no
problem.
And it helps to be on what seems to be a very fine forum.
