I created some virtual machines with VMWare Workstation 11
but they play only on a host with Workstation installed, i.e., they won't play if only the free Player is installed on host. Even though it is a current version of Player.

Can I convert these machines so they will play on a host that has just Player?

what about VHD format? If I convert to VHD, will it work in Player?
If so, maybe someone knows a good converter. mine won't open the newer VMDK format.
