Virtualization For Quad Core Processor on W8

Hi guys. So basically this is my dilemma. I have an AMD A10-5700 Trinity APU Quad Core running at 3.4ghz powering my PC.

The funny thing is, when I open Task Manager, it says this

I thought I had a Quad Core APU...

Anyway, can this be fixed? I'm not running Windows 8 Pro or anything fancy
and I'm pretty sure this is holding my PC back.

Cannot see your screenshot. Download CPU-ID from Majorgeeks.com and post the results from that. It will tell you the make, model, etc. about the CPU, RAM, etc..

In the upper right corner you have "Processor number" using down arrow you will see number of cores you have. That program shows details of each core as it was a different processor.
