When I try to install 8.1 in virtual box I get the following error

I have also executed this command

https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=56196&p=260136

But still I get the same error message

Code:
"c:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox\VBoxManage.exe" setextradata "VM Name" VBoxInternal/CPUM/CMPXCHG16B 1
I didn't managed to test this myself because I'm waitng for the Store to finish downloading or pending... very annoying here. :D

Back to business:
Did you replaced the "VM Name" string with the actual name of your VM?

Also:
Do not try a x64 VM since you don't have VT-x on the cpu.

I did replace with the virtual machine name.

But I get the following errors

I wasn't able to get the 8.1 Preview to install in a VirtualBox VM either so I used VMWare Player instead. No problems installing in VMWare Player.

Hi,

I tried the VMware player and it installed fine. But still I face some issues. Start menu won't appear even after 2-3 minutes after launching the VM. Everything is very slow. I can't even access task manager. What can I do? Is it because of my system spec it is running so slowly?

I would download the ISO again, I had that problem with Eight enterprise at first, then the new ISO worked.
