Looks like I am having issues with my video card driver. Not unusual for a new operating system on an older PC.

ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series

In process of using the tool to collect the dumps and relevant log files. Will post when ready. Is it wise from a security perspective to make dump files available publicly?

This is a TDR116 Error which is typically caused by your display driver or a defect in your RAM/GPU. Update to the latest certified Windows driver. AMD Graphics Drivers & Software

Note that the HD4000 series is in legacy mode, no compatible Windows 8 WDDM1.2 driver will ever be released, you may want to get something newer since you'll likely run into compatibility issues with such an obsolete card.

Used the Microsoft Crash analyzer to look at the dump file.

VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (116)

Attempt to reset the display driver and recover from timeout failed.
Arguments:
Arg1: fffffa801ee264d0, Optional pointer to internal TDR recovery context (TDR_RECOVERY_CONTEXT).
Arg2: fffff88004f61e6c, The pointer into responsible device driver module (e.g. owner tag).
Arg3: ffffffffc0000001, Optional error code (NTSTATUS) of the last failed operation.
Arg4: 0000000000000003, Optional internal context dependent data.

Updated my drivers. Hopefully that helps. One of the issues with a new O/S. Outdated hardware and bad drivers. Seems like AMD should continue to support the HD 4000. It's not that old.
