User Files Lost After Automatic Repair

Hi,

This may be asked and answered before but ill ask anyway. I have this user with Windows 8.0 machine, was not properly shut down.
After turning on, it says diagnosing your system repairing hard disk, it may take up to 1 hr (something like that). After all of these it says Automatic Repair Failed. So i removed the HD and plugged in to external dock to retrieve files. to my surprise, the User Profile and the user files are not there, but other profiles are there. Now the user have lost all his files.

Note: the computer is connected to domain

Run chkdsk /r against the drive. Takes awhile so let it run to completion. Check for the user files now.

ran chkdsk /r for about 3hrs, saw windows replace bad clusters, yet USER File is not recovered. looks like it is forever gone. But other USERFILES are still there. only for that specific user was gone.

I f they are important, you could try running Recuva against the drive, see what it finds.
