Use a local password when logged in to Microsoft Account

When Windows 8.1 is logged in to my Microsoft account, I'll have to use the same password as when I log in to my Outlook account. Unfortunately for me, I use a password manager to help me remind my passwords. The disadvantage of this is that my Microsoft Password is a random string of 16 characters. That is not something you want to type every time you log on to your pc. Is there any way to use a local password when logged in to your Microsoft account?
