A lot of people have upgraded and they have had problems, some who eventually uninstalled. The best place to go to see what's going on with Windows 10 is to the "Windows 10 Forum". There are many posts there of people who really like it and there are posts of problems with it and how to fix the problems. Those who have it on the Windows 10 Forum really, really like the upgrade. You'll have to review everything to make a decision if you want to upgrade. Don't do anything yet, review the information first. I hope this helps you. Oh, and you may also want to view posts in Windows 8 Forum as well.

Without a system image backup of your current OS I would NOT! upgrade at this time. I am not bashing W10 here but more than a few have had serious problems. Hope for the best but plan for the worst. If you are not prepared for the worst (system image backup) I would not do it.
Just yesterday and after 28 days of running W10 I rolled back my HP Notebook to 8.1 because of instability and my Notebook model had been W10 tested by HP. To be fair, my issues were likely caused by a faulty download or installation glitch but nevertheless if I had not been prepared with a system image backup from before the upgrade I would not be a happy person right now. In addition, the rollback option has not worked perfectly for some. When my system returned to 8.1 the W10 download was still in place and ready to install again so I had to deal with that as well.
