Update Problems - Corrupt Files Found But Not Fixed

i have been having problems with windows update not running.

I did the automatic repair thing and it gets to 'starting bits service' and just hangs there no matter how long I leave it.

After a bit of searching for things to try I did:

sfc / scannow

It says there are corrupt files which it cannot fix. I can provide further details from windir/logs/cbs/cbs.log if that would be useful but its quite big so I'm not posting it straight away.

In the elevated command prompt type Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
It will take a while to run and appear to be stuck at 20%, let it complete.

Then run the sfc command again and reboot when completed.

Thanks for helping Nuccii, but that didn't work:

error 0x800f0906
The source files could not be downloaded

Check Installed Updates to see if KB3022345 is installed and if so I recommend you uninstall it. This update has caused the exact kind of problems you are reporting for many users.

Tried the build-in problem solution? (or whatever its called in english, i only have dutch language package installed)
