Unwanted Error Box: License

Anytime I open up a Microsoft Office program (Word, OneNote, etc) on my laptop, a few moments later a little error box pops up, within which is this ominous message:

"Microsoft Office can't find your license for this application. A repair attempt was unsuccessful or was cancelled. Microsoft Office will now exit."
This is a problem.

Help?

I would try uninstalling Microsoft Office and reinstalling it again…
