Hey y'all,

I was in the process of disabling Spotify from starting up when I boot my computer, when I noticed an odd program, just called 'Program' with no known publisher that was also enabled to start when I boot up the computer. Does anyone know what this is or where it could have come from?

Thanks for your help in advance!

First and best, in task manager and right click and look at properties and see if that gives you any information, if not, open file location and see if you recognize the program, if it's an uninstalled program, disable it and wait a few days/boots and see if there are any problems/warnings when not go thru your program files and delete that programs folders and in regedit use the "find" function to delete it's keys in
If it's a "Dead Program"(sloppy uninstall) and you have Ccleaner, under tools>startup>look in the different tabs and find the "program" and at first disable it and wait a couple of days/boots, and if you have no problems or warnings, you can probably delete it using Ccleaner.

That "program" was once an exe file for something at startup - that something has been either renamed or removed..
And it will not pull any info as to what the original file was...

No harm, being there.. as the program.exe is not
