Hi, I'm trying to associate the .epub extension with an installed program (an ebook reader, Icecream). I do this in multiple ways: right clicking on the file and choosing "Open with"/Use this app for all epub files" and then choosing the program from the list, and by going to Control Panel/Default Programs/Set Associations but after I associate .epub with Icecream it still shows "Current Default Not Selected". Any idea how to fix this? Thanks

Go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Default Programs\Set Associations and try to change it there.

OR
Open the registry and navigate to the following key:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExtsHere you have to look for your extension (epub) under a key called “UserChoice”.What this registry key does, is if you change the Default file extension, Windows OS creates this key and adds the value there. On the Right-hand side you’ll see string value “Progid” and under that value, you’ll see the current program that is associated with it. Try to change that value.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you face further problems.
