Unable to Install Printer

I cannot get my printer to install on my system, since I refreshed the system from about a week ago. It keeps saying "The Printer Installation Failed".

Can someone please assist me on getting this issue fixed?

You don't tell us which make and model printer you are using -- but my experience with HP printers doing this has required removing all trace of the previous HP software and the printer drivers, rebooting the machine, and then rerunning the HP-specific printer installer again. That usually requires that you do NOT reconnect the printer to the PC until you are prompted to do so. IF you try reinstalling with the printer already connect, it often will not work.

I am sorry about that Mark Phelps. The printer is a Canon (MG3100 Series) MG3122 Printer. It's installed now, but I can't get the picture of the printer to show up like it did before I refreshed it.

see if cannon offers a cleanup tool - then follow the re-installation

HP is good for your issue.. been around that block several times..
