I upgraded to Windows 10 last week, and all was fine until the other day when it crashed on me. My SSD is no longer working and I had to format the drive. I have now installed 10 again from an iso image file. Problem being my copy of Windows 8 was pre-installed and my product key will not ever work with the installer provided by Microsoft.(The company who I got this from, Avatar Gaming, is now out of business)Support told me I had to buy a new copy of 10 for it to work properly... I'm a broke college kid. Does anyone know of a good way to get my Windows 8 product key to work with the installer from Microsoft? All I can find online is download for 8.1 but I need one for 8 to try it. My key won't work with 8.1 either. I can't get the Windows 8 system repair from Avatar either. Their entire website and all files are gone. (I used to have spare discs with Windows 7 and 8 from Avatar, but I moved and lost them :/)

Any help is extremely welcomed! Thanks!
