Solved Ubuntu gone after installing windows 8

I had two OS on my pc Windows 7 and Ubuntu. i was using the ubuntu loader to load my OS's after installed windows 8 i can only see windows 7. All these OS's are in separate partitions. So how do i get my ubuntu back:cry: important projects are in that partition

....Ubuntu to help with Raspberry Pi stuff....

I didn't said it's fun. But I'm glad you fixed it.

Got fixed ubuntu with that method after a Win7 install, but never after Win8. It always worked so far.

If you are just doing development, Ubuntu in VirtualBox is a LOT nicer setup than dual booting. You can be using windows and linux apps at the same time.

I agree - but I'm using my "old" PC for that purpose as it shares it's TV/Monitor with the Pi.....!! What the Finance Director will say when the second Pi turns up........ I dread to think.

MadHorseman i think you should drop vista. As is it is to me how much time do you devote to each OS per day.
Actually the Vista is still there cos I'm too lazy to delete it....and when the sun is shining it's off to the beach!
