TV LCD as monitor

I´m using a LCD TV as a second screen with Win8.

The problem is that I can´t save this choice and I must do the same thing every time I log on.

Any help?

Just use Win+P to use your LCD TV as your second screen.

One more thing: How can I save the resolution 1280 X 800?

Each time I log off and log on again the resolution goes down to the lowest level (1024 X 768)...

Update your Graphics Drivers.

If that doesn't work, then this Registry Hack should solve this:

1) Go to Start --> Run --> regedit and press enter

2) Click 'Edit' and click 'Find' in the Edit menu

3) Type ' DefaultSettings.XResolution ' (without quotes) and click 'Find'

4) Change 'DefaultSettings.XResolution' to 500 (500=1280 in hexadecimal).

4) Change 'DefaultSettings.YResolution' to 320 (320=800 in hexadecimal).

5) Reboot.

Almost perfect...

But I still need always to do the following after log on:

1 - RightClick on the Desktop

2 - Choose "Screen Resolution"

3 - Leftclick the "Detect" button

After that my TV LCD monitor is OK.

Can I automate that?
