keeps saying cant complete installation but doesnt say why...i just did factory reset yesterday...have done tons of win upgrades....have done this before and had no problems...cant use certain games,etc...think i need update kb 2917499 but cant seem to get that anywhere either...AAAGGGHHHHH!!!! HELP!! PLEASE!!

Just let all your updates install, the patch will most likely come if another update is installed. I don't think you can go from a fresh install of Windows 8 then get the 8.1 update.
