title might be weird but premise of what I am TRYING to do

Computer (Outside "private" network) connect to VPN of MY PC (inside my "private" network)

My computer - New Incom connection, create/add vpn "user", allow through connection = "VPN enabled"

my router - port forward "xx.xx.xx.xx (IP of host PC) 1723/1723 - TCP + UDP (added both for testing)
(my ISP supplied router didn't gave any "VPN pass through" options or the ability to enable GRE 47"

I even created a free Hostname for testing and set it up

result = no matter what I try I keep getting the same issue of "unable to connect to vpn" regardless if its W10 / 8 / or 7

tried everything from disabling Firewall / Antivirus, clearing netsh winsock / ip flush + reset...

I read multiple forums and in reality what i did SHOULD work.. unless I completely missed something

without suggestion using a 3rd party like "openVPN / Nord / tunnelbear" i KNOW this works I used to do it back in the day but for some reason I am struggling trying to get my HOST 8.1p PC to act as a server and let remote connections in

anyways... thanks for reading, imma keep tinkering and either update with my solution or use a suggested idea... my keyboard can only take so many head flops

and yes I tried editing the VPN setting to allow a (PPTP) without handshakes for a smoother connections but still failed
